Primary Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teach360. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teacher and students in a mainstream school in Lewisham.

About the Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting children from KS1 to KS2, assisting the teacher with daily tasks, and providing support to students with special needs or learning disabilities. You will work closely with the teacher to ensure the smooth running of the classroom and provide a positive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons
  • Assist students with special needs or learning disabilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to students as needed
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with the teacher, students, and parents
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a classroom setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
