Job Description

Pertemps Bond is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Technician to join our team in a manufacturing environment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervision and Testing: Supervise technicians in testing various manifold assemblies, cartridge valves, and customer returns, ensuring compliance with ISO9001:2008 quality procedures and company standards.
  • Preparation and Testing: Prepare parts for testing by populating with hydraulic fittings, connecting hoses, gauges, and other equipment, and conduct testing using test rigs and hydraulic circuits.
  • Repair and Testing: Repair and test customer returns, including disassembly, washing, and replacing parts as required, and submitting relevant paperwork.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized production area, adhering to good housekeeping practices.
  • Data Entry and Administration: Enter data into the Sage 200 system and perform light warehouse duties, including preparing parts for processing at external suppliers.
  • Training and Development: Attend training courses and maintain knowledge and skills required for duties, including product training and visiting parent company facilities in Switzerland.
  • Logistics and Delivery: Deliver and collect parts from customers and suppliers as required.
Requirements
  • Assembly and Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience in assembly and manufacturing, with knowledge of hydraulic testing and drawings.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business operations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using gauges, quality procedures, and the Sage 200 system.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a production environment.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks, with a proactive and flexible approach.
