About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Physiotherapist to join our team at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust Hospital. As an Experienced Physiotherapist, you will be working on the hip fragility unit and elderly care wards, providing specialist support and advice to the physiotherapy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the management and clinical leadership of physiotherapy in conjunction with the Band 7 advanced specialist or professional lead.
  • Use specialist physiotherapy knowledge and clinical reasoning skills to provide specialist support and advice to the physiotherapy team and to manage own caseload of patients with complex conditions as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Ensure a high quality, effective and efficient physiotherapy service in elderly care.
  • Contribute to planning and policy development in the Therapy Department.
  • Deputise for the Band 7 as required.
