As a Leisure Operations Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery. Your role will involve management coverage across various aspects of the facility, stepping in as needed to guarantee customer satisfaction. You will also coordinate team assignments and maintain clear communication with staff members.
This position offers a unique chance to gain comprehensive knowledge of the business, preparing you for future career advancements. We provide training and development opportunities to enhance your skills in leisure management, equipping you for your next career milestone.
To excel in this role, you should have prior experience in leisure, fitness, or hospitality sectors, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive mindset is essential, as is the ability to obtain a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, which we can assist you in achieving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Duty Manager when necessary
- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk at all times
- Manage facility operations during shifts, including key holding and opening/closing procedures
- Efficiently deploy team members to various tasks
- Provide fitness instruction, reception services, and membership sales as needed
- Assist in developing and managing a balanced activity and event schedule
- Conduct staff training, appraisals, and performance management as required
- Lead team briefings to ensure alignment and motivation
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and potential clients
