The Role

As a Principal Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our client's dynamic team of nuclear experts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing project work and ensuring the production and verification of design deliverables across various asset care initiatives.
  • Managing projects at different stages of their lifecycle, with a focus on upcoming Front End Engineering (FED) projects.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A comprehensive background in civil and structural design, particularly in modifying existing structures.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Strong leadership skills to ensure timely and quality delivery of engineering schedules.
  • Experience in project management, including the development of schedules and stakeholder engagement.
  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with IStructE or ICE.

Preferred Skills

It would be advantageous if you also have:

  • Experience in delivering work for Safety Leadership.
  • Expertise in drafting safety case documents.
  • A solid understanding of the challenges associated with asset care in the nuclear industry.
  • Familiarity with Tedds and Staad Pro software.
