The UK Ministry of Defence is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the Digital Delivery Portfolio, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of complex digital projects and programmes.

The successful candidate will have a track record of managing and delivering large-scale digital portfolios, with a strong understanding of complex acquisition and digital portfolio delivery. They will be responsible for defining and maintaining standards for portfolio, programme, and project management, as well as championing the implementation of digital portfolio across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to drive the digital delivery portfolio agenda by clearly communicating ideas and solutions to a range of stakeholders. They will also have a demonstrable understanding of data and metrics, with the ability to drive insight and action across the digital delivery portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain standards for portfolio, programme, and project management
  • Champion the implementation of digital portfolio across the organisation
  • Work with digital strategy, planning, and demand teams to ensure technical and business roadmaps are reflected in the portfolio
  • Provide expert guidance, support, and insight on the digital delivery portfolio, programmes, and projects
  • Drive insight and action across the digital delivery portfolio, ensuring the portfolio delivers impact across Defence

Requirements:

  • Track record of managing and delivering large-scale digital portfolios
  • Strong understanding of complex acquisition and digital portfolio delivery
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Demonstrable understanding of data and metrics
