About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Domestic Support Assistant at CareTech Group. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our residents.
Main Responsibilities
- Attend work reliably and punctually, ensuring a consistent and high-quality service.
- Clean and maintain all areas of the property, including bedrooms, communal spaces, and facilities, to the highest standards.
- Use cleaning materials and equipment effectively and efficiently, minimizing waste and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Take responsibility for the safe storage and disposal of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders, providing a high level of customer service.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and techniques, including the use of cleaning equipment and materials.
- Experience of working in a residential care setting, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
