About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people. As an Education Programme Wellbeing Support Officer, you will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality support services to learners with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver one-to-one support sessions to learners in a variety of locations across Kent.
- Plan and deliver personalized, relevant, and wellbeing-focused activities with pupils within an agreed individualized programme.
- Support learners to understand and regulate their behaviours and emotions, building resilience and self-confidence.
- Communicate effectively with learners, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Participate in regular training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage challenging situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for supporting vulnerable learners and making a positive impact on their lives.
- Full UK driving licence (or willingness to obtain).
