About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Examiner to join our team at Pearson. As an Examiner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our GCE A Level English Literature marking process.

Key Responsibilities

  • To mark candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.
  • To submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
  • To ensure milestones for marking are adhered to.
  • To ensure all administration is completed as specified.

Requirements

  • You will have a degree or equivalent qualification.
  • You will be a qualified teacher with at least one year's full-time teaching experience in the relevant subject and qualification, in the last 12 years.

Competencies

  • You will have the ability to work well under pressure.
  • You will have the ability to meet deadlines.
  • You will have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
