Job Overview

Alexander Steele Recruitment is partnering with a leading chilled food manufacturer to find a Customer Technical Manager to support their growth and expansion in the UK market.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to key retailer accounts, ensuring exceptional standards of integrity, food safety, and legality.
  • Work closely with internal customer functions to align technical agendas with business objectives.
  • Visit customer sites, host customer visits, and manage customer specifications.
  • Develop and maintain technical policies in line with customer policies and procedures.
  • Lead NPD and innovation projects for key customers, collaborating with product developers, suppliers, and procurement.
  • Facilitate product launches and drive continuous improvement and optimization of systems and processes.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Customer Technical role, with a proven track record of working with major UK retailers.
  • A degree in Food Science or equivalent.
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills.
  • Significant experience in food safety and quality management systems, including HACCP and complaint handling.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
