Job Title: Teaching Fellow in Learning Development

Regent College London is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Fellow in Learning Development to join our team. As a key member of our academic staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver learning and teaching materials for a range of modules and subjects.
  • Teach and facilitate learning sessions, ensuring that students engage with the material and achieve their learning outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that students receive a high-quality student experience.
  • Maintain attendance registers and work with the attendance team to ensure accurate records.
  • Support the production of assessments and ensure they are approved in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Identify and escalate cases of possible academic misconduct.
  • Provide student support, signposting students to specialist College services as necessary.
  • Monitor student progress and liaise with specialist services as needed.
  • Engage in scholarship and continually update knowledge to support teaching activities.
  • Contribute to the accreditation of programmes and quality control processes.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant subject discipline.
  • Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) or willingness to work towards within 12 months.
  • Significant experience in teaching, curriculum development, and quality management in a higher education environment.
  • Appropriate digital skills in learning, teaching, and assessment.
  • PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject area, or willingness to work towards within an agreed timeframe.
  • Teaching qualification or preparedness to work towards.
  • Membership of a Professional Statutory Regulatory Body (PSRB).
