Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description
Gap Personnel is recruiting for a permanent Electrical Maintenance Engineer position for our client in Brierley Hill. The ideal candidate will have a recognised Engineering apprenticeship and experience in welding and general fabrication work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out necessary maintenance operations to all equipment and machinery in line with company requirements.
- Perform all planned preventative maintenance as requested.
- Respond to emergency breakdown maintenance and prioritise accordingly.
- Report all problems regarding equipment and machinery immediately to the maintenance manager or designated persons.
- Adhere to all legal and company standards and procedures in regards to health and safety.
- Participate in any training requested to support the role.
- Be prepared to complete overtime as and when required.
- Carry out maintenance activities during shut-down periods.
Requirements:
- A recognised Engineering apprenticeship.
- Experience in welding and general fabrication work.
