Junior Estimator Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our client, a reputable Civil Engineering company, in a nationwide role.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in Estimating, preferably with a Civil Engineering background, and be willing to work alongside a Senior Estimator on reactive maintenance, small civils, and similar contracts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh Estimator to develop their skills, work with a mentor, and potentially step up to a more senior role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Senior Estimator in preparing estimates for nationwide contracts
  2. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Civil Engineering principles and practices
  3. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure accurate and timely estimates
  4. Continuously improve estimating skills and knowledge through training and mentorship

The successful candidate will have a keenness to learn, a willingness to take direction, and a strong work ethic. Long-term work and potential for a permanent contract are available for the right candidate.
