About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Walker Sime. Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Take charge of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Cost Management: Provide expert cost management services, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while managing costs effectively across all project stages.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with both public and private sector clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring we exceed their expectations.
  • Mentoring and Development: Guide and mentor junior members of the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with your colleagues across our Liverpool and Manchester offices, contributing to the collective success of our team.
About You
  • Expertise: Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, with a successful track record of managing projects, ideally within a consultancy setting.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various sectors within Real Estate, including museums, residential, life sciences, infrastructure, and more, with experience in different procurement routes and contract forms.
  • Leadership Skills: A collaborative spirit with the ability to lead projects and guide teams towards successful outcomes.
  • Relevant Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, along with membership in a relevant professional body (RICS or equivalent), is highly desirable.
