VAT Associate Director - M&A Team

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Our client is looking for a dynamic and driven VAT Associate Director to join their expanding team, with a specific focus on M&A. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a fantastic Transactions VAT Director, playing a key role in the delivery of complex and interesting tax projects.

About the Role:

As a VAT Associate Director, you will be a vital part of the team, responsible for managing a diverse range of transactions and VAT-related projects. You will:

  1. Conduct indirect tax due diligence, identifying VAT risks and making commercial recommendations for both buyers and sellers.
  2. Mentor and develop junior team members through effective delegation, on-the-job coaching, and formal feedback.
  3. Collaborate closely with the Transactions VAT Director to support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and client relationship building.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both from home and in the office, providing a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct VAT due diligence on transactions to identify risks and opportunities.

• Develop and implement VAT strategies to support business growth.

• Collaborate with the Transactions VAT Director to deliver complex tax projects.

• Mentor and develop junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
