Job Title: Construction Manager

WB Power Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction projects nationwide.

The Role

Assume responsibility for the efficient management of construction projects on-site.

Vigilantly oversee quality control and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Take a hands-on approach to pre-site, on-site, and post-site activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) for WBPS projects.
  • Review, manage, and approve subcontractors' RAMS.
  • Collaborate with the Projects team to forecast planned works and timelines.
  • Attend meetings at Head Office as necessary.
  • Foster positive internal and external communication channels.
  • Ensure compliance with WB Power Services Ltd ISO policies and procedures.
  • Manage communication between all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Address and resolve any on-site delays or issues, escalating as needed.
The Person

We are looking for a skilled Construction Manager with:

  • Previous experience as a Construction Manager or Installation Manager.
  • Possession of SMSTS certification.
  • Willingness to travel as projects are nationwide.
  • Prior experience with generators or M&E projects preferred.
  • Proficiency in communication via telephone, face-to-face, and email.
  • Familiarity with industry ISO standards.
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety protocols.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers from diverse industries.
  • Proficient with IT systems, with a willingness to learn our ERP.
