Job Description

Upton GP Surgery is seeking a highly organized and dynamic Pharmacist Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of our Dispensary team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the dispensary, ensuring seamless communication with our GP partners and practice manager, and maintaining optimal stock levels to minimize wastage and expenditure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the team and support the delivery of an excellent service to our dispensing patients.
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual dispensary returns, run searches on the practice clinical system, and complete necessary audits.
  • Develop, review, and improve standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of a team of 9, including rotas and performance.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
