Forseven, a pioneering company, is seeking an exceptional Senior Programme Buyer – Sourcing PMO to join our dynamic Programme Purchasing Team.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Warwick or Bicester, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented minds in the automotive field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and maintain Direct Purchasing sourcing timelines against key Programme deliverables such as cost and programme milestones.
  • Responsible for reporting metrics, KPIs and status in key management reviews and maintaining their accuracy
  • Manage and coordinate cross functional stakeholders including Engineering and Manufacturing partners
  • Drive and provide guidance to teams on their individual sourcing projects
  • Implement and influence Business change management processes
  • Develop cross-functional business relationships from Product Development, Supplier Quality, through to Cost Engineering
  • Drive and support the functions in key workstreams to understand key issues and provide solutions to mitigate risks to ensure successful programme delivery
  • Support in driving continuous improvement across the Business
Requirements:
  • Degree in Business or Supply Chain or equivalent experience (desirable)
  • Excellent experience in Direct purchasing/Programme purchasing
  • Experience of creating reports and key metrics
  • Project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of working within the automotive sector (desirable)
  • Great influencing and communications skills
  • Analytical and methodical approach and mindset
