Job Summary

Sewell Group is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Assistant/Cashier. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering world-class customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting and Serving Customers
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
    • Authorise fuel pumps and serve customers from the till points, handling cash and card payments
  • Store and Forecourt Management
    • Monitor and maintain the store and forecourt, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers
    • Assist with stock control and management, including receiving and checking deliveries, re-stocking shelves, and rotating stock
  • Customer Support and Guidance
    • Provide product information and recommendations to customers, assisting them in finding items within the store
    • Offer general advice and guidance on shop products, services, and offers
  • Teamwork and Support
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
    • Provide support and cover for holidays and sickness as needed
