Job Summary:

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled Plant Fitter to join our client's team in the recycling industry. As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the routine maintenance, rebuilds, diagnostics, and safety inspections of heavy mobile and fixed plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy plant vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct rebuilds and repairs of plant equipment to extend its lifespan and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in plant equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in welding, hydraulics, and electrical work is highly desirable.
  • Team management or supervisor experience is also highly desirable.
