Strategic Finance Leader for PE-Backed Enterprise

Marks Sattin Executive Search is proud to partner with a high-growth, PE-backed financial services business that has undergone rapid expansion. This dynamic organization is seeking a seasoned Finance Director to join their executive team and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
The Finance Director will oversee finance and operations, implementing necessary controls, processes, and procedures to professionalize the business. Key objectives include:
- Driving commercial vision to support growth
- Running the operational side of the business
- Enhancing reporting, controllership, and data management
- Ensuring accurate and insightful management information
- Managing financial covenants and regulatory compliance
- Structuring and negotiating financial transactions
- Optimizing the business's capital structure
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A qualified accounting background (ACA, ACMA, ACCA), ideally Chartered
- Experience as a Divisional Finance Director, Head of Finance, or Financial Controller with strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Previous experience in a PE-backed or leveraged environment is desirable, but not essential
- A background in a regulated business, preferably a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) business
