Finance Director PE-Backed Media Business

Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a PE-backed media business, in search of a best-in-class Finance Director, to be a strong strategic partner within the senior leadership team and take ownership of the financial affairs for the business.
The Finance Director will be responsible for running the day-to-day finance function of the business. As well as help to commercialise the business through the implementation of extensive KPI analysis, forecasting, budgeting and reporting. You will act as a true business partner who will offer sustained commercial, financial, and operational input at the board level. Responsibilities will include complete management of a small yet robust finance team (including overall responsibility and overseeing the development and maintenance of financial systems and procedures, including appropriate IT systems
The ideal candidate must have:
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
- Experience as a Divisional Finance Director or Financial controller looking to step up into a no1. Finance Director role in a PE-Backed business in the advertising, Media and/or related sectors
- Be a capable communicator, and be able to present to both investors and shareholders.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- A high level of motivation, a "can do" attitude and a willingness to be involved at all levels
