About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales and Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team at Ansell Lighting. As a key member of our sales and technical team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth through technical expertise and sales acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage OCTO projects, ensuring records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Establish a pipeline of opportunities and track progress to support the sales team.
  • Identify, vet, and approach key new potential clients in the specification and building industries.
  • Attend trade shows and 'demo days' to attract sales interest and grow the sales number.
  • Provide technical support and answer OCTO-related queries, documenting advice and following up with other departments.
  • Assist with the commissioning of projects remotely and on-site, bridging customer problems to solutions.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in selling technical products or in a technical support role.
  • Experience in the lighting industry and/or controls industry, with a strong understanding of building construction and lighting infrastructure.
  • Wireless/Bluetooth mesh infrastructure experience/commissioning is desirable.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, with a clean and full car driver's license and valid passport/right to reside.
  • A technical understanding of electronics and luminaires, with Casambi knowledge being desirable.
