About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Technician to join our team at Ansell Lighting. As a Sales Technician, you will play a key role in promoting our innovative lighting solutions to customers across the UK and ROI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage OCTO projects, ensuring records are up to date and accurate.
  • Establish a pipeline of opportunities and track their progress to support the ASM.
  • Identify, vet, and approach key new potential clients in the specification and building industries.
  • Attend trade shows and 'demo days' to attract more sales interest.
  • Grow sales numbers by seeding the concept of OCTO with more influencers of the sales chain.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in selling a technical product or in a technical support type role.
  • Experience within the lighting industry and/or controls industry, with a working knowledge of building construction and lighting infrastructure.
  • Wireless/Bluetooth mesh infrastructure experience/commissioning is desirable.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, with a clean and full car driver's license and valid passport/right to reside.
  • A technical understanding of electronics and luminaires is desirable, as is Casambi knowledge.
