Job Title: Senior Power Platform Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Platform Developer to join our team at Sanderson. As a Senior Power Platform Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing custom applications and workflows that use the Power Platform suite to address business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Power Platform Solutions: You will collaborate with business units to comprehend their challenges and create effective solutions using the Power Platform suite.
  • Develop and Configure Power Apps: You will develop, configure, and customize Power Pages, Power Automate processes, Power Apps, and their related components.
  • Implement and Test Solutions: You will develop and implement plans for unit and system testing, following formal change control processes.
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom solutions.
  • Integrate Power Platform Solutions: You will integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.

Requirements:

  • Power Platform Experience: You will have demonstrated skill in creating Power Platform solutions through all phases of the SDLC and service transition.
  • Technical Skills: You will have practical experience in Canvas Apps and model-driven applications, knowledge of dataverse and data modeling principles, and the ability to develop and implement plans for unit and system testing.
  • Business Acumen: You will have the ability to work with business units to understand business needs and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Agile Development: You will have experience working in Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver value incrementally.
  • Industry Knowledge: You will have demonstrable experience of working in the Lloyds Insurance market with the ability to understand core insurance processes and terminology.
