About the Role

SJC Partners is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to join their Private Equity Services team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for generating introductions of work from within the local deals market and spearheading the business development offering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and Consolidating Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the Manchester and North West M&A community, including PE Houses, Law Firms, and Accountancy firms.
  • Initiating and Linking New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, linking them with the appropriate team or service offering to generate deal flow.
  • Organizing Profile-Raising Events: Plan and execute events to raise the profile of the PE team, including organizing tables at industry dinners and conferences.
  • Managing Events and Partnerships: Coordinate events, including dinners and conferences, to foster relationships and generate business opportunities.
  • Collaborating with the London Team: Work closely with the London-based Business Development team to share ideas and drive national initiatives locally.
  • Contributing to Presentations and Marketing Efforts: Participate in presentations, conferences, marketing campaigns, and PR initiatives to promote the Private Equity Services team.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess extensive business development experience, a strong network across the M&A industry, and a proven track record of generating introductions of work. A highly competitive salary and benefits package is offered for the right individual.
