Duty Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at JD Gyms. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the gym, including leading and managing a team of staff, driving commercial performance, and delivering operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the gym, including supervising staff and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence, including managing the gym's operations and making key decisions.
- Drive commercial performance by developing and implementing sales strategies, managing budgets, and analyzing sales data.
- Deliver operational excellence by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of staff, including gym instructors, personal trainers, and customer service representatives.
- Proven experience in a management position within a leisure-related industry, ideally with a background in fitness or customer service.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Qualifications in a relevant field, such as Level 2 Gym Instructor or a degree in a related subject.
- Experience in driving sales and managing budgets, with a strong understanding of commercial performance metrics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
