Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

Are you a skilled electrical maintenance engineer looking for a challenging role in a dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join our team at AWE.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled electrical maintenance engineer to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventive and reactive maintenance on state-of-the-art plant, processes, and facilities. This will include electrical distribution, specialist production equipment, and ventilation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial systems, including 3-phase
  2. Adhere to a strong safety culture and work to industry standards
  3. Previous experience in a building, plant, or manufacturing environment

Requirements:

  1. Engineering Apprenticeship NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in relevant discipline or NVQ/Diploma Level 2 plus industrial experience
  2. A recognised relevant qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC or BTEC Level 3
  3. 18th edition and C&G 2391 preferred but not essential as training can be provided
