Are you an experienced Environmental Risk Consultant with a comprehensive understanding of current industry ISO standards?
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering analytical data to management to support the creation of monthly performance reports.
- Aiding in the oversight and enhancement of the Group Insurance Risk Management (IRM) platform within the UK.
- Supporting the Environment and Industrial Risk team in various capacities (remotely).
- Assisting operational teams in identifying and managing defects, ensuring they are addressed effectively.
- Developing management strategies (including Fire Prevention Plans, Odour Management Plans, Site Management Plans, and Monitoring Management Plans) that align with regulatory standards.
- Offering expert advice on incident management to mitigate environmental pollution risks.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Environmental Sciences or related fields (e.g., WAMITAB).
- Membership in relevant professional organizations to stay informed on the latest industry standards.
- A minimum of three years' experience with Management Systems, including documentation, evaluation, and maintenance. Understanding of 'best available techniques' (BAT) is crucial for compliance with environmental permits.
- Strong project management skills are essential to ensure timely delivery of accurate information within regulatory deadlines.
- Familiarity with legal reporting obligations, such as waste management, energy efficiency, and permit compliance.
