Overview

FM Global is a leading property insurer of the world's largest businesses, providing more than one-third of FORTUNE 1000-size companies with engineering-based risk management and property insurance solutions.

Our team of engineers works independently at client locations, evaluating potential disaster risks and providing guidance on engineering and environmental risk topics.

Responsibilities

As a Consultant Risk Engineer, you will:

  • Evaluate flood exposure at industrial facilities
  • Advise on sprinkler system installations to prevent major fires
  • Provide guidance on engineering and environmental risk topics
  • Influence core business decisions in collaboration with our technical underwriting department

Qualifications

Successful candidates should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Fire, Electrical, or Structural/Civil)
  • A minimum of two years' experience in an industrial engineering role
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Good analytical, organisational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver's license for use in the UK
  • Proficient in MS Office products
  • The permanent right to live and work in the UK
