Control Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Transicon Limited, a leading control system manufacturer based in Telford. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for a wide range of industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems using industrial platforms such as Siemens and Rockwell PLC, as well as SCADA systems
  • Commission control systems and ensure they meet the required specifications
  • Collaborate with the sales department to identify new business opportunities and develop control systems for our customers
  • Work with the Mechatronics department to develop control systems for our own bespoke industrial machinery
Requirements:
  • Degree or similar qualification in an electrical or mechatronic engineering field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with software tools such as Siemens TIA, Rockwell Studio 5000, and LABView
  • Familiarity with hardware/software testing
  • Knowledge of safety systems and machine learning/AI in control system design
