Job Summary
RPS Group is seeking a skilled Water Leakage Specialist to join our Water Operations Division in Wales. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering leakage reduction and ensuring the delivery of regulatory targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and determine the most appropriate solution to reduce leakage and support the delivery of regulatory targets.
- Ensure Health and Safety is maintained while working in all weather conditions, including night work.
- Achieve KPI targets and deliver leakage detection/reduction within DMA's.
- Train and mentor assistant leakage technicians.
- Assume responsibility for general admin tasks, including electronic timesheets submissions, weekly vehicle checks, and defect reporting.
- Form and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and clients.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a similar role is useful, but training will be provided in water network hydraulics, leakage detection techniques, and monitoring/reporting of leakage levels.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to conflicting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and high levels of standards.
- Team player with a flexible, co-operative attitude to working and giving and receiving help and sharing knowledge.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-focused and able to build and maintain great working relationships.
- Able to work quickly and accurately report on findings.
- Full UK driving or Irish Driving Licence.
