About the Role

We are seeking a skilled VMS Driver Technician to join our dynamic team in the Romford area. As a VMS Driver Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the VMS operations team in deploying, setting up, and collecting VMS units at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and environmental regulations during work at depots and customer sites.
  • Conduct off-hire inspections, minor repairs, and prepare units for hire at the depot.
  • Perform battery exchanges, cleaning, and inspections on long-term hired units in the field.
  • Assist the local depot and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues across all departments.
Requirements
  • Full driving license with no more than 6 points.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Basic electrical fault-finding skills and mechanical or technical hands-on work experience and skills.
