PERSON SPECIFICATION

We are seeking a full-time Account Manager with robust public relations expertise who is outgoing, motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic. This position presents an opportunity for a passionate and ambitious individual to establish themselves as a mid-level leader within the organization and play a pivotal role in our growth.

A solid understanding of the UK media landscape, PR strategies, and methodologies is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for the design and creative sectors, along with a comprehensive understanding of the digital media environment and its influence on overall communication strategies.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Your contribution will be vital to TDC PR's ongoing success as you take on a mid-level leadership role, primarily focused on client account management and mentoring junior team members, while also supporting strategic business development initiatives.

This role will report to TDC PR's senior team, collaborating to manage our client roster and ensure the delivery of high-quality work that aligns with the standards and collaborative ethos that TDC PR has upheld since its inception.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing a portfolio of clients with guidance from the senior team
  • Offering strategic advice to clients to enhance their PR, digital, and broader marketing efforts
  • Providing media contacts with relevant information about products or companies
  • Fostering relationships with both existing and prospective clients
  • Building connections with key media figures and industry influencers
  • Coordinating with clients on press initiatives, creative projects, and PR solutions
  • Engaging with the media, including journalists and press representatives
  • Delivering innovative and creative solutions to clients
  • Updating clients on press initiatives and campaign progress
  • Evaluating PR coverage and digital performance, providing comprehensive reports
  • Communicating effectively with various stakeholders

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of three years' experience in an in-house or agency PR role, ideally related to the sectors mentioned
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced account management skills to ensure high-quality client service
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for media and social media
  • A keen interest in the sectors we operate in, including design, innovation, and creative agencies
  • Creative flair, strategic thinking, and innovative problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient copywriting and marketing skills

  • Solid industry knowledge and experience in cultivating influential networks
