Job Title: Deputy Home Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Hatched Recruitment Group.

About the Role

The Deputy Home Manager will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children and young people. You will be responsible for assessing their needs and encouraging behavioural and/or relational change through proactive and positive interaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the physical environment, ensuring repairs and renewals are carried out promptly and health and safety matters are resolved.
  • Assist the Registered Manager with management of the home and deputise in their absence, commensurate with the grade.
  • Encourage and foster a commitment to continuous professional development among staff.
  • Organise, deploy and manage staff to ensure work patterns and rotas are flexible and maintained to meet the needs of the service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
