Swimming Programme Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swimming Manager to join our team at Penarth Leisure Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the commercial, sales, programming, development, and operations of the Learn to Swim programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a commercial growth strategy to drive income from the Learn to Swim programme.
- Manage sales targets and provide clear communication to the teams who support the sales process.
- Oversee customer feedback and ensure the best possible customer service is provided.
- Maximise pool space and timetabling to promote convenient entry points and retention for customers.
- Forge positive working relationships with local Swimming Clubs, Swim Wales, and Authority Sports Development Teams.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of learning to swim programmes and the Swim Wales National Teaching Plan.
- Previous experience managing a team is desirable.
- Fully qualified IOS Level 2 Swimming Teacher or equivalent.
- NRASTC or NPLQ and First Aid at Work certificates are desirable.
