About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious finance graduate to join our team as a Trainee Finance Business Partner at James Andrews Recruitment Solutions (JAR Solutions). This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in commercial finance and work closely with our clients to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a Finance Business Partner for all levels of internal stakeholders up to Director level, providing financial guidance and support to drive business growth.
  • Take ownership of the profitability of a part of the New Vehicle range, analyzing financial data and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial results and forecasts to stakeholders, highlighting key trends and opportunities.
  • Update and consolidate financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Contribute to the development of the monthly forecast and budget, working closely with the Commercial Finance team.
  • Complete all month-end activities, including accruals and prepayments, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide expert support and guidance on MS Excel queries, identifying and resolving issues to ensure seamless financial operations.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years post-graduate experience in a finance role, with a strong understanding of commercial finance principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to develop and maintain complex spreadsheets.
  • Recent finance graduate looking to progress within commercial finance, with a desire to study professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, etc).
