We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our Group Accounting team at Howden Group Holdings. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Group with various financial tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities- Accounting Papers and Advice: Project manage, prepare and/or review accounting papers and/or advice for specific transactions which are complex in nature.
- Accounting Policies and Chart of Accounts: Lead the update of existing accounting policies and development of new policies.
- Group Wide Control: Assist with quarterly review of accounting for acquisitions.
- Consolidated Group Accounts: Assist in preparing/reviewing sections of Group consolidated accounts.
- Other: Establish a good working relationship with other teams.
- Accounting Papers Delivery: Project management is essential.
- Pace of Accounting Policy Updates: Ensure timely updates to accounting policies.
- Quality of Deliverables Presented: Ensure high-quality financial reports and presentations.
- Timeliness of Quarterly Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Ensure accurate and timely reconciliations.
- Development of Relationships with Other Teams: Foster strong relationships with other teams.
- Great Working Knowledge of IFRS: Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Strong Project Management and Good Communication Skills: Ability to manage projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to Discuss Accounting Concepts with Non-Finance Staff: Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance staff.
