About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our small software development team at CV-Library. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting our various SaaS (ASP.NET MVC) websites, services, and C# based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using C#,.NET, and ASP.NET MVC.
  2. Collaborate with team members to develop and innovate new features, ensuring quality standards are met and tasks are completed on time.
  3. Conduct code reviews via pull requests and contribute to technical specifications and documentation.
  4. Provide technical support, root cause analysis, and bug fixing for our applications.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in.NET, C#, and web development.
  2. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present and discuss technical issues effectively.
  3. Ability to manage and prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency, think creatively, and propose solutions to challenges.
  4. Strong grasp of databases, SQL queries, and web services, with experience in source control management and performance optimization.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Experience with cloud-based IaaS platforms, continuous integration, and deployment with pipelines.
  2. Relevant experience in software development for line-of-business or similar applications.
  3. Commercial experience in the compliance or financial services industries.
  4. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure-based services, such as App Services, Storage, and Monitoring.
