Job Summary:

Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Freight Forwarding department, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless customs clearance procedures for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize expertise in export customs clearances, including effective usage of T-Forms and the NCTS Transit System.
  • Manage customs clearance procedures using relevant software products, including Chief, Destin8, NCTS, CNS, and Descartes.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of import customs clearances, including Port Health rules and pertinent licenses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with customs regulations and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and procedures to ensure optimal clearance processes.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in exports or imports, handling export customs clearances.
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong expertise in customs clearance procedures and regulations.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Excellent decision-making abilities, including the capacity to assess, organize, and plan while adjusting to shifting workloads.
