Job Summary

This is a key role within Taylor & Francis Group, responsible for driving and delivering key people initiatives in support of the strategic people plan. The successful candidate will work closely with people colleagues from various departments to deliver projects in areas such as organizational effectiveness, talent management, performance management, employee engagement, and capability management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trusted Advisor: Build and maintain strong relationships with managers and their teams, gaining in-depth knowledge of the division, key employees, and business processes.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with colleagues and business leaders through active listening, problem-solving, and agreeing plans for effective ways forward.
  • Project Delivery: Partner with colleagues in the POE (Shared Service) team and across the 4 Pillar teams to support the delivery of the Global People Strategy and Plan to the highest standard across the business.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Provide support for ad-hoc People Team projects as required, bringing a solution-focused mindset to bear on any initiative.
  • Commercial Focus: Bring a strong commercial and customer focus to all People-related initiatives.

Requirements

  • HRBP Experience: Strong experience in HR Business Partnering, including performance management, talent acquisition, change management, and skills.
  • Talent Planning: Strong talent planning skills and a deep knowledge of the talent process across the colleague life cycle.
  • Commercial Focus: Experience of and a commitment to driving commercial and customer-focused People initiatives.
  • Project Management: Strong project management experience and experience with using relevant project management tools and processes.
  • Data Analysis: Strong data analysis skills and storytelling availability.
  • Employment Legislation: Knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Trade Union Experience: Experience of working with Trade Unions would be useful.

Working Arrangements

This role will require working in the office 1-2 days a week, with the remaining time spent on remote work.
