This role encompasses system operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic communication systems, including video conferencing, meeting room assistance, event support, and control systems.


The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately diagnosing faults, performing first-line repairs, testing, and operating various audio visual, video conferencing, display, and presentation technologies.


Ensuring the optimal functionality of meeting room AV systems is crucial to minimize downtime and maximize performance.


This position offers an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced AV Support Specialist to join a well-established operation with the potential to enhance service delivery at every opportunity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt, courteous, and appropriate responses to all customer requests for assistance, support, and room administration, adhering to defined service level agreements.
Diagnose and resolve faults and issues with AV, VC, AC, and TP systems efficiently.

Ensure all systems are operational and minimize equipment downtime through effective troubleshooting and coordination with relevant personnel or departments.

Support high-profile meetings with technical expertise.

Maintain accurate tracking of the client's hardware inventory.

Offer guidance and support to colleagues as needed and assist in training staff as directed by senior personnel.

Keep company and customer files up to date and accurate.

Adhere to company standards and quality techniques in all work performed.

Comply with the Company's safety manual, prioritizing the safety of oneself and others at all times.


  • Maintain the cleanliness, cable management, safety, and organization of the service area and meeting rooms, upholding the highest standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by company or client management.

Candidate Profile:

  • A solid understanding of communications, networking, audio visual systems, and their components is essential.
Familiarity with touch screen and web-based technologies.

Experience with IP and telephony-based video conferencing systems.

A strong foundation in delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced front-of-house environment.

Ability to be organized and adaptable, managing various tasks throughout the day.

Capable of prioritizing and working effectively under pressure.

High level of computer literacy is required.

  • Experience in testing, fault finding, servicing, and maintaining electronic audio visual systems or related fields.
  • Ability to think creatively to find suitable solutions for applications or deadlines.

Essential Skills:

  • CTS qualified or willing to pursue certification.
Ability to work independently and take accountability for tasks.

Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards with attention to detail.

Represent the company professionally at client sites.
