About the Role

This challenging and rewarding role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. As an Old Age Psychiatry Middle Grade Doctor, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a range of psychiatric conditions, including dementia, depression, and schizophrenia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Prescribe and manage medication, as well as provide guidance on evidence-based treatment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support
Requirements
  • MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent
  • 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years
