Job Description

At Turner & Townsend Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Cost Management Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients, ensuring that their objectives are met through effective service delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in feasibility studies and prepare procurement reports
  • Develop and present cost plans, including estimating and cost planning
  • Manage the tendering and procurement process, including pre-qualification
  • Act as contract administrator and conduct cost checks and valuations
  • Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and negotiate final accounts
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other consultants at all project stages
  • Work closely with our project management team to deliver projects
  • Lead a cost management team where applicable
  • Utilize our digital cost management tools and services
  • Implement our Embodied Carbon Calculator
  • Manage internal fees, job costing, and resourcing requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services
  • Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
  • Degree or HNC level qualification

Key Skills:

  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
  • Self-motivated and able to deliver under pressure
  • Working towards or recently achieved Chartered Status
  • Confident and professional manner
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize workload
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships across the business
