Engineering Planner

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Planner to join our team at Cepac Limited. As an Engineering Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing site in Rotherham.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and schedule maintenance activities, prioritizing tasks and developing scopes of work, method statements, risk assessments, and parts lists.
- Schedule preventative and corrective work, collaborating with production stakeholders to agree on daily and weekly schedules.
- Liaise with stores to track required spare parts, enabling efficient planning of work.
- Participate in meetings to review daily/weekly work schedules and backlogs.
- Monitor job costs using purchasing and maintenance software.
- Conduct inductions, manage authorization to work, and work permits.
- Provide excellent communication skills to colleagues and production personnel to develop an understanding of machinery operation, enabling efficient fault rectification.
- Promote the development and implementation of the site CMMS system (Agility) and contractor control system (Intasite).
- Apply rigorous TPM tools and techniques to generate continuous improvement and support process improvement throughout the factory.
- Apply the 5S principles to deliver world-class standards of housekeeping.
- Review and assist with planning relevant training within the engineering department.
- Review and monitor statutory engineering work/inspections to ensure compliance.
- Qualified in an engineering discipline at a minimum Level 3 (ONC).
- Demonstrable knowledge and expertise in maintenance planning for an industrial plant and equipment.
- High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office and CMMs systems (Agility preferable).
- High degree of H&S awareness, qualified in NEBOSH, with a good knowledge and experience of H&S regulations and working practices.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
- Salary up to £35k per annum after the probationary period.
- Generous production bonus paid monthly or yearly after the probation period (£3.5k in 2023).
