Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Delivery Lead to join our team at E.ON UK PLC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the energy transition to net zero.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Training Needs Analysis: Conduct a comprehensive analysis of our organization's training and employee development needs, aligned to the Market Wide Half Hourly Settlement (MWHHS) impacts and resulting needs.
  2. Training Material Development: Create training materials and programs to address specific operational gaps in adopting the MWHHS new ways of working, leveraging existing solutions/content where possible and relevant.
  3. Resource Management: Utilize matrix managed resources and take overall lead of internal resources to ensure effective training delivery.
  4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with subject matter experts to establish the most appropriate training model, strategy, and delivery plans to ensure colleagues are equipped to operate in a post-MHHS world.
  5. Training Evaluation: Define and agree a Training Evaluation strategy for MWHH training, implementing this as agreed to monitor and assess the effectiveness and success of the training program.
Requirements
  1. Leadership and Personal Development: Experience of driving performance through leadership and personal development in a complex environment.
  2. Training Program Design and Delivery: Experience and proven track record in scoping, designing, and delivering successful training programs.
  3. Training Approaches: Practical experience of using a range and blend of training approaches to meet needs identified, e.g., on-the-job/in-classroom, eLearning, mentoring, coaching, simulations, etc.
  4. Training Needs Evaluation: The ability to evaluate training needs and develop effective training programs that address the needs of the organization and employees.
  5. Influencing Stakeholders: The ability to influence key stakeholders, generating an understanding of complex issues, providing clarity and certainty in a complex environment.
Desirable Skills
  1. UK Energy Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the UK energy industry.
