About the Role

Our client, a leading architectural practice, is seeking an experienced Architect/Architectural Assistant to join their Industrial sector team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing buildings and structures, collaborating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Planning: Develop detailed plans and designs for buildings and structures, taking into account client needs and preferences.
  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on design and construction.
  • Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and specifications, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Technical Expertise: Produce technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software, and ensure that designs comply with local building codes and regulations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to bring designs to life, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise during the design and construction phases, and find creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into designs, and ensure that projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong design and technical skills, with experience in CAD software and building design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions.
