Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vaccination Practitioner to support our Autumn Flu and Covid vaccination campaign. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide a safe and efficient vaccination service to our local population.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the Autumn Flu and Covid vaccination campaign
  • Vaccinate patients against Covid-19 and Flu
  • Work to the Patient Group Direction (PGD) to legally supply and administer vaccine
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient vaccination service

Requirements

  • Registered professionals who can legally supply and administer under a PGD, including Nurses, Midwives, Pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Experience in delivery of Covid and Flu vaccinations is desirable
  • Knowledge of infection control and PPE is essential

Working Arrangements

The shift pattern is 5-hour shifts, with options for 9am-2pm or 2pm-7pm. Full competency onsite training will be provided, but evidence of completion of mandatory training must be submitted prior to interview and competency assessment.
