Job Title: Vaccination Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Vaccination Practitioner to support our Autumn Flu and Covid vaccination campaign. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in vaccinating our local population against Covid-19 and making a real difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer vaccines under a Patient Group Direction (PGD)
  • Work with a variety of healthcare professionals to deliver a high-quality vaccination service
  • Provide excellent patient care and support
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain expertise in vaccination practices
Requirements:
  • PGD training and certification
  • Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. NMC, GPhC, HCPC)
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including 5-hour blocks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Core Knowledge:
  • e-Legal Aspects of Vaccination
  • e-Vaccine Storage and Handling
  • e-Vaccine Administration Techniques
  • Core Knowledge of Flu Vaccination
  • Infection Prevention and Control Measures
  • Recognition and Management of Anaphylaxis

  • Safeguarding Adults and Children
