Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Consultant to join our team at Red Kite Waste, a successful waste management and recycling company. As a key member of our consultancy team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with permitting and providing expert advice on planning issues and environmental applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships and carry out site visits to assess land quality and risk
  • Prepare and submit applications for Environmental Permits in Waste Management
  • Conduct risk assessments and deliver commercially effective and sustainable solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, government guidance, and current research
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant Environmental degree qualification and at least 2 years' experience as a consultant in Waste Management. MRTPI qualification is essential. You must be able to work effectively within a team and have a full driving license for site visits.
